Well Davey I have had two that did not work but both acted almost the same, in that they would run but cold air only would come out. On the tent trailer it was a fuse at the battery box. On the motor home and this happend two months ago, it was the circuit board at the furnace that was malfunctioning. Good luck to ya.

Listen to see if the furnace fires or tries to ignite. If your gas line is not purged, you may be trying to ignite air. Turn on the surface burners for the range and light one. Let it burn for about a minute and then try the furnace. It may still take a couple of tries.

I have had two instances of this. In the first case it was a spider web in the gas orfice.

The other instance was where the factory forgot to hookup the ignition wire or it got disconnected during assembly.

Have you ever had the furnace working? I would try the unit several times after the stove lighting trick. You may well have a bad board in the furnace. However, if you have not used the furnace you may have to have the unit serviced just to have the switches freed up from non use.
