We have 2 Rad Mini folding ebikes that we enjoy very much. If you purchase a pair you get a discount. They’re delivered to your home where you finish assembling them which is not complicated at all. Since they are ebikes they weigh more than a simple peddle bike which can present an issue with storage. We put them in the back of our towed car....

Rad Rover Mini Folding Ebikes Inside Toad

Anyone storing these Rad Rover ebikes in their toad? If so what is your toad? Will a Rad Rover Mini and Rad Rover Mini step thru fit in the back of 2010 Honda CRV with the rear seat down? Thanks!

We carry two of them in the back of a Jeep Cherokee with the seat down. Don’t know the size of the Honda so can’t be of any help there. That being said the Cherokee isn’t all that big.

E-Bikes

We noticed WalMart has FIIDO e-Bikes on sale... these folded up and had decent specifications. I bought two of them. Delivery was free, took under a week to get. They were about $500 each.

It took about 15 minutes to assemble each one. My wife and I were out riding the same day they came. They are SUCH FUN! They fold up real small - I can put two of them in the back of my old Honda CRV and have room for helmets and picnic supplies. I got two 4' moving blankets at Harbor Freight and wrapped each one in a blanket and stuck a hunk of foam between them. They ride real well in the CRV's trunk. (The CRV is our tow car)

Very easy to unfold and go riding. Comfortable to ride. Lots of power for straight aways and small hills. You will need to pedal if you get to a moderately steep hill. The bike has three modes: 1) pedal only, 2) pedal assist - where motor help you when you pedal, and 3) throttle - where you control the motor speed yourself.

The version I got only has one manual gear. WalMart has a new version that has multiple gears - I'd get that one as one gear is hard when going up a steep hill.

I'm real happy with the purchase. However, getting it repaired or getting replacement parts might be challenging - hopefully WalMart would help!
