Delayed delivery of new Winnebago?

I'm waiting for delivery of my new View Profile that was supposed to be here early this month.
The factory says delay involves a bad batch of awning motors with bad breaking systems that might allow the awning to open unintentionally. My dealer says they have 50 units on the lot that they can't deliver till the motors get replaced.
Anyone else waiting for an overdue unit?

Another guy on here just had the same recall on his NEW coach.

Guess they don't want the awnings opening while being delivered to the dealers. Actually pretty impressive how proactive they are on getting this fixed. On the newmar forum a member was contacted by his dealer about the issue and it was replaced within a few weeks. The repair involved drilling out a few Rivets and removing the bad motor. New motor gets rivets and done.

I am sure dometic is having trouble getting supply out quickly, and the delivered coaches surely get a priority as damage could occur.

Hopefully it doesn't cause too much delay, can't imagine what the lost $$ to Winnebago is with All that inventory finished and waiting for a simple part.

Send a thank you to the factory for not shipping out a product that has an open recall. Dometic has issued a recall on certain model awnings manufactured between Feb and April.
Hopefully it won't be too long.

Not much of a delay as we just got word that it is here, and we are taking delivery Tuesday the 14th.
