We had Progressive for several years because they offered the best price and coverage for our RVs but after they raised their rates considerably last year we found the best price was now with our home and auto carrier "by bundling".

For those who are USAA members or who are eligible (current and former military and families), USAA has RV coverage through a contractual relationship with Progressive.

I don't know, but I suspect the rates and or coverage might be better than going directly through Progressive.

We started with State Farm a couple years ago (our home, auto, life) but there was no discount for adding an RV to our other 10 policies so we felt no allegiance to them and switched the next year to Progressive. Stayed with them in 2019-2020 as the rates only went up a couple dollars. We've only had a windshield claim on our account. I shopped Safeco, Progressive, Allstate, State Farm and a couple others when we went with Progressive. I actually got a better deal when on the phone with them than I was quoted from an independent agent.

I am a USAA member also. Had to go through Progressive to get the coach insured. Apparently, USAA does not insure motorhomes. The rates seem OK. I have never had to file a claim.....yet!

I had to use Progressive for towing and all went well except for the timing which wasn't their fault. I was 25 or 30 miles away from the nearest town at 5:30p. It took them a while to find a big enough tow truck but they kept me informed of their progress and all went well.

We switched to Westfield Group because our current provider would not insure an RV over 35'. Looks like they do cover PA: https://agent.westfieldinsurance.com/pa/

We moved home, auto and now the RV to them because we also have an umbrella policy and everything needs to be with one company. The umbrella adds one million dollars to the coverages. So if you have $300K on your RV liability and you run someone over, the umbrella can kick in if needed and protect you to 1.3 million. If you're bundling I highly recommend getting an umbrella. Ours was about $270 a year to add it to everything.

My agent said Progressive for price (3 years go) and they will do an AGREED VALUE so there should be no argument on what it is worth if totaled. Knowing I do not have to argue about value is worth a lot to me.
