Checking In

Looking forward to the RV adventure. Bought a used Winnebago Chalet 22R 2007 on Ford E-350 Chassis. Low mileage with new tires. Still going through all the systems and learning how to use and maintain them. Any tips on this unit would be appreciated. Thanks.

I can't give any insight on your RV but if you have problems with any particular appliance , just ask, and if you can't identify a component , post a picture of it and you will get all the help you need.

Welcome to the irv2 gang and congrats on your Winnebago purchase. You've already been referred to someone who has a Chalet. You might also note that there is an Owners Forums menu option at the top of the web site and Winnebago Industries is one of the selections you can make. And, generally in the top right part of most forum web pages is a "Search" option. You can search the whole site and you can search within a specific topic or page. Hope this helps...and good luck as you learn about your wheels.

Tire Recall

While checking out Manufacturer's Specs on my RV's tires, came upon this:
Safety Recall : MICHELIN LTX M/S | Michelin Tires

I contacted Michelin and went here:
Tires San Jose CA | San Jose

They installed seven new tires, no charge. I did pay a little extra to have them install new valve stems and extenders for the rear dual wheels.

Overall, great service from the manufacturer and the local dealer.
