Serial number example. This is from the Vista in the link in post #5.
It is indeed a 2018 coach on paper. The serial No. is 10E40X150860.
The X means 2018 model and the one after the X means earlier model.
By checking the Service Parts Lists it was made on 03/14/17.
Thanks to Jim at Camping World, Summerfield, Florida here is a pic of the Manufacture's label.
Not saying this is a bad thing but just something to know when your laying out a bunch of cash. The earlier models are usually just rebadged last years model. No real changes.

NO, it appears you mis-interpreted my post. You have a 1992 Model year chassis, so you would want to have the 1992 OM.

I know what your saying. Well they do make it confusing for the guy working on them . Mine has no air pump and hardly no emissions stuff on it.
In the service Manuel it says it does. This might be why chassis a 1991. Motorhome chassis in 90s we always behind compared to the trucks. I bet that's why I get 10 mpg loaded or empty . I think 1991 was only the second year of TBI for the p37 (p30) chassis.

Yes in them years towing wasn't a big deal. But I will get that fixed. It's real weight on scale is only 11,930 with tanks full and driver. I have car dolly tow master. Just need to upgrade hitch.
With 4:88 gears pulling is no problem it's the stopping part that needs concern.

Itasca66,

I would not change hitch on your coach. If it came with a 3500 lb hitch than that is what you should use.

A few of the chassis that rv's use are extended frames and youy would see that if you look underneath. If the frame extension is tack welded on I would definitely leave the 3500 hitch on it. You also have to find the GCVW.

I tow a car on a tow dolly and are within the GCVW of my 35P.

In conclusion I would not change the hitch that came with the coach. Also WBGO dropped the Itasca name but still has the Itasca models such as Sightseer or Suncruiser but on the front of the coach is WINNEBAGO.

Did you call winnebago and ask them if this were true? Call and ask for someone in sales. They will.talk to you. We traded a 32H for a 35p and we LOVE it.
