We use them all the time. As with most businesses, some stores treat you better than others. We typically avoid the undercarriage wash, and unless really dirty with road grime, we ask for no brushes. Point out any areas where direct spray may get into electronics. Had a friend that got his electrical distribution wet an had issues until it dried out. Not sure how it got in there. We have not had any issues.

We use them all the time also. Easiest way to get the rig and toad washed.

Used them in Florida. Wasn’t impressed with the results. It’s a pressure wash and left the wheels with a dirt film and streaking on the body.

Have been using Blue Beacon in north Las Vegas, just off I15 since 2010 on my annual trip south from Canada. We are usually pretty dirty with all the snow, ice and wet roads at the beginning of January and they do an absolute fantastic job of our motorhome, toad, towbar and bicycles on back of the motorhome. Have recommended them to friends and family to wash their rigs and all are pleased with the service. It can sometime be a bit of a wait, but thats because they do a good job they can be busy.
Keep up the good work Blue Beacon, it allows me to arrive at my destination clean and happy.

I use the Brunswick, GA Blue Beacon. I have always been more than satisfied.

I tried to use them once, after speaking with them I passed. They use cheap soap that will strip the wax off your coach.
They may differ by location, but ask them if the use ph balanced soap. If the don’t I’d pass. I took a lot of time putting wax protection on, I don’t want a wash to take it off.
I’ll just wait to a campground that allows washing and pay the fee.
Never allow them to use a brush on your coach. The brush I use on my coach cost $100 and it all natural boar hair to prevent scratching.

Blue Beacon
We took our 31G to Blue Beacon, they did a wonderful job! Very pleased with the result and zero issues! They wash trucks and RV’s all the time and knew what they’re doing! For the price you just can’t beat it!

Just had my 2012 Tour washed on Tuesday (6-19) at I-75 & Hwy 52 in San Antonio, FL location. This is 3rd time using them since we purchased our RV last December. No issues, very friendly staff, and also very busy (waited 30 minutes in line with the big trucks), but was worth it.
Total cost was $57.50 including rainx all over which I highly recommend. Also, left a $10 tip for the wash crew.

Thanks to all for the comments. Yesterday 6/20/18 I used the Blue Beacon in Lodi Ohio. I was satisfies with the job they did. My wait was 35 minutes. There was an 18 wheeler in the wash when I arrived and 3 18 wheelers in line (one was sans trailer just cab). The manager told me that that was the shortest line he had had in the last week. I will use them after each trip and will hand wash and wax myself before I put in in storage for the winter which for me will be NLT October 15 of each year.

Used them many times
We use them a good bit if we've been driving in foul weather or have been on remote roads with significant grimey spray or dirt. I really like them when the front is all "bugged" up!
The results have been good and seem to hit the spot if the rig is all gummed up.
My only concern is that as they don't use brushes on the whole rig and only high pressure spray guns. I have sometimes found a very light, hard to see, and almost invisible film of grime left in areas on the rig. I brush cleaned it after getting home.
Aside from that, Blue Beacon is generally a welcome sight after a long buggy and dirty ride!

There is always so much misinformation that flows around these threads.
Normally if the coach looks okay after the wash, people thinks it’s a good job. That’s just not the case with Blue Beacon. Looking “good” is also not the sign of a good job. Damaging the paint or putting micro scratches on the surface is just plain bad.
I emailed Blue Beacon about the products they use to wash trucks and motorhomes. I must say I’m was not surprised but, shocked at what they would put on an expensive motorhomes finish.
The bottom line, if you use Blue beacon you will be harming your clear coat.
The long used staple to remove wax and sealants off a paint job is Dawn detergent , blue beacon uses dawn as a foamer with Brushes(damage). Bear in mind Dawn will remove sealants and waxes and has a PH of about 8.5.
Their pre-wash soap has a PH of 11.52. YIKES.
IF you use Blue Beacon you can be assured any wax, sealant or coating it will be removed.
Any “protectant” they spray on is pretty much useless past a couple of days.
More power to you, but I’d never use Blue beacon on my expensive coach. That’s why I carry a pressure washer, foam cannon and de-ionizer to clean my coach.
Blue beacon used harsh soaps because they are dealing mostly with Trucks and dirt is hard to get off on trucks.
