1956 Winnebago

Hi everyone, first post and hope it's in the right place :-) I have a chance of buying a 1956 Winnebago travel trailer. Unfortunately they cannot send me decent pictures because their camera is not that good. Can someone guide me to a place where there are pictures posted of a 1956? This camper will need a little bit of work and if you could help me to show where I can get material at for it I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Someone not being able to send you pictures in this day and age sounds like a scam to me. Dont send any $$$ till you verify and ask them to email u a copy of the title

Right on. I think it's legit because we're talking about seeing it this weekend. She had sent me pictures, but they were not the best quality

Winnebago Industries was incorporated under the laws of the state of Iowa on February 12, 1958, and adopted its present name on February 28, 1961.

Are they sure it is a winnebago brand and 1956?

thanks for the observation. I kind of thought this picture look more of late 1960s rather than 1950s. What do yout think?

It comes with a fridge and AC, but not a stove. It does not have a stove but owner says you can cook, bake broil and boil. Any idea what that might be?

She also was saying that this one has 2 beds, shower and toilet. I've searched google and have no idea what year it is.

That would be some trick without a stove. Maybe she's throwing in a hot plate and a toaster oven?

Looks like a cool vintage RV; please report back after you've seen it.

“This camper will need a little bit of work”

1956? Just a little work? A complete rehab!

1968 ish? Looks VERY much like the one in the attached image showing the 1968 Winnebago lineup.

...found some more stuff. 1966 info attached. I'd say she's 10 years off.

Well I bought it tonight but instead of going to get it myself I'm paying a carrier because I don't have the time to spend 8 hours going to get it and bringing it back. It is suppose to be here on Tuesday so once I get it I will post some pictures. It's a little rough but it's all fixable.
Tderonne, the picture you posted looks exactly like it. Thanks!!
**Note** almost exactly. Mine does not have the offsets on the front and back

Sixty-two year old TT that you have not seen, being too busy, MAY be fixable and may not be fixable.
