GNR

Just curious as to how many from this forum are at GNR this week. This is our first time attending and so far we are impressed with how friendly everyone here is! About to head to our first seminar and check out the vendors.

Rod, I am envious however very cautious. When we were there in 2008 in the 50A section we were struck by lightning and it blew out a bunch of stuff not to mention our nerves.

I think that I am still dealing with remnant gremlins that haunt us from time to time.

You know, it could have struck the 100 foot high metal roof church steeple but Nooooo!

I was a little nervous last week about the event when we had major thunderstorms sweep this area last week, but this week it's just HOT! I was asking the guy that parked us if he thought there would be a problem with power with the 1000+ rigs all running their AC 24 7 and he said that everything was "over engineered" power wise and they have never had a problem. We've been here since early Sat. and have been comfy in our rig.

I'm not at the Rally, but I am at the service center. Does that count. We have been here since last Thursday - off and on again.

We sure have met a lot of WIT rally attendees and as stated, everyone has been real friendly, even the dogs.

We are here in B-11, Nevada Row. Finished our parking duties yesterday, now in rally mode.

It is hot, hot, hot. But voltage staying right at 120V.

This is also our first time here. WOW what a friendly group and the staff/ volunteers are very helpful. A big thanks to all. Can you cut the humidity some though.
