Clothes dryer removal

I have a 2016 Winnebago Itasca Meridian 40R and need to remove the clothes dryer to replace a part. It is still under warranty but the dealer/repair shops in this area break more than they repair so I would feel more comfortable doing it myself. Has any removed a stackable system before and what is the degree of difficulty.

I have taken mine out, not that hard, you will need another hand to help remove it.

I see on the floorplan, it is next to your medicine cabinet, similar to mine. My guess is you will need to remove the false left side in the medicine cabinet to access mounting screws on upper right corner of dryer. Remove the shelves, and possibly the false top then false side.

Remove upper wooden doors and center cross brace.

Remove lower panel on dryer, you will see mounting screws attaching to washer.

Unplug dryer cord, attach a string to it to aid in bringing it back in.

You should be able to see vent, my dryer came off easily, you may have to loosen band.

Lift front of dryer to pull forward, there are slide in bracket plates on the rear top of washer.

Which part are you replacing?

Not sure what needs replacement. Dryer just doesn't power on. It's not the breaker and there is power to the dryer.

Why don't you look for an independent to do the work. Their business is to repair you and get you out the door.

If you have the Splendide units, call Westland Sales, they have been helpful to me in the past.

Your issue may be the door safety interlock system:

Did you remove your dryer and was it difficult.I want to replace the bearings in mine and was hoping to remove it without removing the trim. Or turn it 90 degrees and remove the side panel.
