I tried to get into the chat room tonight but it wouldn't open. I restarted my computer in case it was a problem on my end...but nothing. Finally after about 5 more attempts I got an empty chatroom about 9:50. I thought that was strange since there is usually someone there. I went to the rvchatters room and it was empty as well. Did anyone else have trouble with the chats tonight...or was everyone just too busy watching American Idol or something, lol ??

Shannone;
I could not get on the chat rooms either. I think there may have been a server problem.

Ocean Lakes is a city unto itself. We have stayed there numerous times since 1996. We will be headed there in mid May, and again in September.
As far as the golf cart problem, well that is in the eye of the beholder. I do not see the big deal, but, thats me.

We're still here....leaving Sat. AM. This is a nice place...lot's of things to do, especially for families with kids. The golf cars might be a problem in the summer months but are not a problem that I can see. The park is about 3/4 full now and there are a lot of golf cars and bikes moving around. It's certainly a lot happening here but a fun place.

We stayed at Jekyll Island CG last week which was nice and more remote than most resort campgrounds. We also stayed at James Island Park Campground two nights so we could visit downtown Charleston, SC, and that was very nice. If you ever visit the Charleston area, check it out.

Ranger What is your site at OL. Send me a PM and possibly we can meet up b/4 you have to leave.

Golf carts are a major item with OL the cost during the summer season is very high, but you do what the traffic will bare
