Secondary furnace

Secondary furnace- I own a 2004 Winnebago Vectra. I’ve owned it for less than a year and I’ve been trying to figure out why there is a thermostat in the bedroom and does that control secondary furnace installed on the rear driver side corner of the coach. As it has become colder on Long Island I have been using the propane heater which works perfectly. However the rear secondary furnace doesn’t seem to ever cycle on. Can anyone shed some light on how this particular system works. Thank you for your input.
