Wife turned it off and a cupple of days later she went out and turned it back on, nothing she said happened but for getting a shock when stepping into the rv so she unplugged the rv. I got home and checked it out. Plugged in rv and shut off breakers for air. Everything good. Called a ac tech and he unhooked all the ,switches, relays ect in unit and said he would be back.. well never came back so I am stuck not knowing where all wires go. Anyone have a pick of wires for ac? There is no board, just a bunch of relays, switches, ect.. I am back on the road for a few days so I can't send a pic of my unit.. any help will be greatfull.

94 basement air conditioning

Good day. I bought a 94 vectra motor home that needed some wiring, plumbing, repairs from sitting for 3 yrs. The unit is fixed but for a new problem. The basement air conditioning, I had it working for weeks this summer and while I was out on the road, my wife said it would not come on and she got shocked waking in the unit so she unplugged it. When I got home I plugged it in again and turned off the air, I had an air conditioning guy come outo and look at and while there he unplugged some of the replays, switches and left. Never to come back. Now I have no where to go to find where these wires go. I found a 110 wire that was rubbing in the frame and fixed it so hoping that's was the shocking problem. Does and one have a pic or wiring diagram? Would help me out real good. It's a great unit and would love to have the basement air running again.. thank you

Thank you so much for the info.I have heard that you can wire up unit for 1 compressor? Would you know how to do that incase I can't get both running again?

No re-wiring required; each compressor is on it's own separate breaker. Compressor #2 will not run unless #1 is already running. Simply turn off the breaker controlling #2 compressor.

If #1 compressor quits, then re-wiring is required to switch wires from #1 to #2 compressor and leave #2 un-wired.

FWIW, one compressor will NOT cool the MH significantly , it may maintain set temperature, but not lower the temperature a noticeable amount on a hot day. What effectively happens is, you are running one 12,000 BTU air conditioner on a hot day for the MH.
