Winnie Dump Station Locking Adapter

Have 05 Itasca Suncruiser 33V, when I look at the Owners Manual on dumping the tanks it shows a 90 degree elbow valve adaptor that fits into the dump station sewer connection and if memory serves me I remember these "locking" to the sewage connection with a cam action. This great device was missing from my coach when I purchased it and none of the Campers Worlds or RV Parts stores seem to have one like that shown in the Owner's manual, not does anyone know of such a thing.

One only needs to have opened the coach blackwater valve and looked over at the "mess" spewing forth to understand the desireability of such a device.

Anyone out there have info, a link, or idea of where I can find these devices?

HELP !

i don't understand why you would open the blackwater drain valve without a stinky slinky hooked up.
i don't know exactly what you're looking for but here are 3 items i use. i leave the clear hydro-flush 45 degree adapter installed all the time and use the twist-on valve when either the gray or black dump valve malfunctions and will not shut off all the way. the hydro flush fitting is available in 90 degree trim also. see the camping world links. imho the rhinoflex stinky slinky is the best one made. maybe you are looking for the flush-king?

It's Camping World... Campers World is a tiny little outback store I occasionally get mail from.

The adapter you are referring to does not lock into the dump station receptacle, the lever you see is a valve. I think the plan is to close that valve, open the tank, stick the adapter in the hole, then open the valve. That's a whole lot of pressure on that hose till you open the other end.

Here is how I use the valve: Put it in the sewer pipe open the valve then open the gray or black valve. No big deal, but when you get ready to leave it's great. Drain tank as usual but leave the gray valve open, drain the hose and close the valve at the end of the hose. Stuff the hose into the compartment putting the valve into the hole where it fits, then close the gray valve. It lets you compress the hose with no drips. When we traded in or '05 that valve went with us as a spare!

The sewer hose end fitting is "144728-01-000 Valve-Sewer Hose 3" (Quick Connect)" and the gasket (which presumably comes with it) is "144728-01-700 Gasket-Rubber". You can see it in the plumbing section (pg 107 in the pdf) of the Winnebago R.V Parts and Accessories Catalog. You should be able to order it from your local dealer or Lichtsinn Motors.

SCVjeff... Trust me Mega ALWAYS know where the stinky goes !

Cbeierl... saw that part in winnie Master Catalog but agree there is no "cam-Lock" mechanism.

Dan L... that Rhino Flex or "stinky slinky" has been in the sanitary hose compartment since I first laid eyes on it couple years ago, it has been the toughest, most leakproof sewer hose a camper could ever imagine; Had a LANCE Slide-in with Slide Out for 7 years and the way that magical thing collapsed, sealed itself up, all in less than 30" length was nothing short of a revolution !

All of the items linked to or referred to are wonderful. I am sure not just myself but many will benefit. Now, if Oemy or one of those guys with a magical garage or factory contacts could just conjure up the "Cam Lock Mechanism" we could all dump safely and cleanly and profit immensely from the "vision" of a secure fit at that forever variable sewage dump station connector, be it threaded, unthreaded, crooked hacked off pvc, abused and misused ... whatever !

Thank You all for the ideas and links, keep em comin... not just us senior's that will benefit !!!!

cbeierl is correct! We just found out about this wonderful sewer connection! We purchased our 2006 Itasca Suncruiser new and had no idea this little gem was supposed to come with our motorhome. We both have health issues and connecting, taking hose in and out of bays, ect. was a real burden. We went the route of buying a macerator.........to make dumping easier. After the second motor failed another Winnebago owner told us about the Quick Connect and mentioned that it should have been in our mh. Guess the dealership gave it to someone else. We can now travel with the slinky connected and dump quite easily. Quick Connect..........where have you been? We can't believe we are so excited about anything that has to do with dumping, but we are! Lichtsinn Motors and Lonnie were wonderful when I called and ordered! Thanks Lonnie.
