Water pump issue

I have a 2016 22’ Minnie Winnie and the water pump appears to be working, but the water is pumping out of the city fill line. The water lines and water heater bypass valves are all in the normal operating position, so I’m stuck as to the cause. Some sort of faulty check valve?

Looking in the city water fill connection, do you see a spring loaded gizmo of sorts? This may be a check valve which is designed to close when the pump builds pressure but when city water pressure is connected it lets flow go into the RV.
They can get funky in different ways. They rust/corrode or things get stuck into the opening and bend them. Fix is to replace if it is not simply stuck and comes loose when played with.
