Water heater problem

I have a combination gas/electric water heater in my 2018 fifth wheel Winnie plus that won’t operate on gas . There is not a pilot to light it is remote controlled from control panel in tralior, but when selection is made for Lp it doesn’t light and a reset light comes on, on the control panel How do I reset?

Check the manual for the specific heater. However these now days are spark to burn using solid state flame sensing probes. I have seen spiders love the air shutter gap and build webs / nest there. So you get the failure on light off. Take a look in there normally pretty easy access and removal. The lockout is important because propane lingers in low areas and goes boom easily.

There is no "reset" button, it will reset by turning off the switch for 10 sec or so, then back on. It tries to light for about 10 sec then warps off if it doesn't light. Yours is not lighting, prob dirty pilot. Open the little door on the front of the big vertical chimney in the refrig control box outside, blow it out with air or try a toothbrush to clean it off. It may be out of adjustment too but usually just dirty or the air adj is out of place.
