Water heater electric side not heating

2007 diesel journey. The electric part of the water heater just stopped working. Propane heater still working. What is the first thing I should look at? Breaker is on . Red toggle switch is lit up. Thanks

I am still looking into this so I am not sure if this is something designed into the system as a safety or something wrong with the system. We had the same thing happen on our 2019 Adventurer on trip before last. What I did: I turned off propane and electric and then turned off main breaker at the post. cycled it all back on and electric has worked for a month now without any other issues.

Check the connection at the element. Check the element.
Is it an Atwood or Dometic HWH?

Here is the Atwood Water Heater Service Manual which has troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair procedures (also a parts list);

A standard HWH element wrench comes in handy if you find it's needed.
