Water filter under sink for the water dispenser

Anybody know what filter Winnebago uses under the sink for the little filtered water dispenser? Ours is missing and I don't see anything in the manual that calls it out.

My 2011 Meridian 34Y uses a SHURflo EV959206 ADC filter for the water dispenser.

Ours is set up for a 3M filter (I'll try to find the model number) but we use a whole-house filter so we don't need the 3M. I hear they're quite expensive so it's just as well...

The Pentair Everpure water filtration system has 2 different heads.(this is the newest) You need your model # to buy the correct filter to fit your head.
Amazon sells Everpure filter cartridges, Camping World sells them, and I've found CW is cheaper than Amazon. That's the one my MH requires.

call Winnebago tech support, give the tech your VIN and they will tell you which filter cartridge you need.

Ours came with the 3M and the replacements were about $50.00 and hard to locate. So I bought a new system at Lowe's for about $35.00 and replacements for $15.00. I took about 10 minutes to switch them.

Ya that's a newer head than mine. I wish I would have taken a pic.

I tried to find a model number on the head, nothing.

The original in my (recently new to me) Horizon was long gone - replaced by a previous owner with a huge Culligan canister rattling around unmounted under the sink. I replaced it with one of these:

Mounted it with this:

3M Model A1 Replacement Water Filter Cartridge for US-A1 5610429

Got on Amazon $50. Check the plumbing. For starters the filter was plumbed backwards. Second the tee for the fridge water was after the filter so double filtered. Took an afternoon to replumb both.

Thanks Rick - I love those guys. I watched there walkthrough videos on multiple models before we purchased. They do a great job explaining features.

However, based on some advice above I decided to just put this one in as I can get the filters for quite a bit cheaper.

You are a wise man. I didn't want to be bold and say "find it cheaper some place else" though I did think it.

I think this is the filter I have in my rig. Other than being in a tight space, they are really not a big deal to install. I guess forgetting to shut the water off before starting might make it a bigger deal.

I love Amazon.
Keep us posted.

I'm sure that could work - would just need the fittings.

Well, hi there. Welcome to the forum.
Please tell us what you have for an RV?
Using a whole house water filter, or even a system, is very common. Some folks mount a filter in the water bay, others inline with the water hose. My coach came oem with one in the water bay and under the sink and a dispenser on the sink. I often put another pair of filters, one with the white string type filter for the big stuff and a charcoal one for taste, in the water hose line. You wont believe how much stuff is in our drinking water.
Happy trails,
Rick
