Thanks for all the replies. Today I blew out the lines including the water filter and then removed the filter. I put the cap in place and then winterized the coach.
I put some saran wrap over the opening of the filter and placed it in the refrigerator. If we decide to go out in the winter to Al I will reinstall it.
To OEMTech; it is too expensive to replace these filters after using it only a month in one year. These filters are not cheap either. We will try it this way and see what happens.
