Hi guys,
It looks like I am missing all the pictures. I just see a square box with a red X inside and cannot access the picture even when I click on it.
Anybody got some helpful suggestions?

Note the date of the original post (2006) -- the original links are probably no longer valid.

bad stuff happened when the new owner ''updated'' this website. a lot of really good info went by-by.
the part number for the all brass camco water heater check valve is: 23303, costs about $9.

Inspectorudy, ChiefJohn has answered the question for both of us. See his comment above about the 2006 posting dates.

We are not seeing the pictures because the EarthLink site where they were being hosted no longer exists.

Here is the link to the first picture however it leads to just an error message:

Here is an update on the photos from my original post. One photo is of the internal parts of the check valve with the missing spring retainer. The other photo is of the tools needed to remove and replace the check valve.

Great thread, I just replaced both ck valves due to them making a singing kind of noise whenever we used hot water. It was a bear to remove them! I had good access through a panel door, (thanks Winnebago) but one (of course the furthest one) was installed so tight I actually had to use a pipe wrench after the 1" wrench rounded the brass off. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either! Only had a 1/4 turn so once that corner was ruined the pipe wrench came out. I didn't tighten the new ones quite so tight!
Think I'll invest in a set of socket/rachets.
All is well now, Mo's happy.
