To bad it's not a Timex. You could fish it out, and wrap it up as a gift for your mother-in-law...

OK, here's the final chapter in this saga.

The black tank passed the phone today, and I don't know how the rig feels after that event, but I can tell you I feel relief.

As I dumped the tank, I was pretty sure that I heard the dull thump of a solid object hitting the hose connector. But because I didn't see it go by (for obvious reasons), I wasn't aboslutely sure at that point.

But when I unhooked the hose, out popped the phone. I donned the gloves, picked it up and put it in the garbage.

It's over and I can say that I enjoyed the jokes and funny comments as much as anyone.

Ciao,

Doug

Not only do cell phones require recycling but in your case it's a double whammy in that it really becomes hazardous waste. You would almost need a dumping permit to put the phone in the garbage.

If this were done right the phone would have to be first placed in a Bio-Hazard bag, decontaminated, placed in a HAZMAT bag and then recycled. The bill for that would be about $692.54 Thank you very much.

I thought you would take it to the phone repair shop. Tell them where it had been and see the reaction on there face.

Good grief, DriVer, now I've got a new problem: after reading your post, I've now got one leg longer than the other after that massive "pulling my leg."

Ciao,

Doug

So if I drop mine in there, and retreive it, I'll just mail it to Driver so he can supervise it's disposal.

I'm certain Driver would accept it if you included his $692.54 disposal fee.

I think before the jokes get any worse I'll close the lid on it.....
