Angry Black water pump system

Hey all - wondering if anyone else has experienced this. We dumped our tanks, which include a gravity outflow for the rear bathroom, and a pump system for the front bathroom, then the greywater. All went well, and the pump system seemed to operate fine - it pumped till it didn’t have more to pump. Got home (3 miles), and noticed an outhouse type smell in the cabin. Turns out there is a leak in the black water system for the front bathroom, which includes the pump. Very smelly water, some solids on the floor near the pump, and the rug in the adjacent storage bay was soaked.

I cleaned up that mess the best I could (yuk!). Dropped off the RV at CW after work (15 miles), and the mess happened again....only this time much worse. And I didn’t operate the pump. It should all be on warranty, including the rug, deodorizing, etc.

Any insights as to what’s up with this would be welcome. Thanks. John

Not any big insight here as I don't know of any common problems of this sort. Just seems to be true that we often get things that were not totally put together and checked well. Lucky , perhaps that it is only an RV and not like a Boeing aircraft?
Less time spent checking means more money-- until it all crashes!
Even happier thought? It also happens on heart stents!

Early observation by CW is that the connection from the front toilet to the black water tank came apart - “may not have been tightened enough”.....they are running it by Winnebago to make sure it’s a warranty issue.

Talking Resolution

So it was the disconnection from toilet to black water tank - Winnebago oK’d it as warranty work, and CW fixed / disinfected the RV. Picking it up tomorrow - should be all set.

I had so much trouble with a new Thor that I moved from it back to a 2014 just to get away from the totally dud service I found on the new one. They give no info online and calling them was a total bust. When I called about where a coax was run and wanted to know the locations of the ends, all Thor would say was they were "pretty generic" but they had no drawings to send me!
As I got to looking under the dinette, etc. I could see there really were no plans as wiring was just thrown in and left loose without even cutting off the slack!
