3m filter bypass plug
Just bought a coach with the 3m undersink filtration system but no bypass plug to be found. Checking on-line prices for a replacement leaves me wondering in the neighborhood of $40 for a piece of plastic?
So - I'm thinking (always dangerous) I'm going to replace the filter anyway. Pictures of the pricey plug show show its just a fitting with a solid bottom. I'm going to replace the filter anyway. What about I take the old filter, saw it off leaving the top with fitting. and plug it with caulk/epoxy? Thoughts?
