Having issues with the Magnadyne RV Radio not playing CD's. I called them...no help at all. Gotta go through the dealer and only 2 year warranty. Yea right, I'm going to have my RV sit at a repair shop to fix the radio......I dont think so. I offered to send it to them and Magnadyne said no....have to go through a dealer. Also noticed one of the exterior speakers sounded high pitched. Noticed the outer cone was glued to the inner tube......of course Magnadyne said take it to a dealer as well. Whatever happened to the word "QUALITY"?
OK, I've vented and its all good here in AZ, at 10:44pm......101 degrees!!! Enjoy the summer folks!!!!!!!!!!

TOSS IT! Mine is a piece of junk (IMO). I fought with them when the radio was new and talked myself into the factory in Carson, CA. All I wanted was a new Sirius Rx, and it took them 2 weeks to figure out how to deal with a non-dealer return/ warranty. Not the sharpest folks in the world. BTW- The problem still exists.
As soon as I get a solid failure to justify it's replacement: bye-bye.

Look at THIS one.

Before you trash it...buy some "canned" air at Walmart in computer section. Using the straw type extension nozzle, insert the nozzle into the cd slot and release air all around the inside of cd player slot for about 1 minute. Then, try using a cd cleaner disc with cleaner fluid as per cleaner disc instructions. Walmart electronics/music section should have the cd cleaner disc. Odds are your cd player is not "reading" the disc due to dust etc. Both of these routine maintenance items could fix the "reader" element. Good luck.

Looks like Winnie has had enough with Magnadyne as well. For 2008 they are going with the radio SCJeff has listed in his link above from Jensen.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I tried the air can and cleaner.....no luck. Actually the disc isn't even spinning so its more than the reader.......might be time to "trash it"!!
