Looking For Mobile Weather Station w/Anemometer

I want to add a simple weather station to our MH to monitor outdoor temp, humidity, wind speed and direction. wireless preferred over running cables. how well does the anemometer hold up at highway speeds? I'm planning on a "permanent" installation as opposed to a 'put it up while parked' install. any information and recommendations on your experience, installation, specific mfgs and models would be appreciated.

I have a Tycon Power TP1080WC, which is wireless on my house and it transmit 50' or so to the receiver. I wouldn't mount the outdoor portion permanently to your RV because the beating it would get as you drive. How about making a mount that you can clamp to your ladder? Then you could put it up quickly, point it towards the north and you're ready to go.

i've seen several anemometers mounted 'permanently' on the roofs of motorhomes and fivers over the past few months. i probably should have knocked and asked but putting one in our MH didn't really take hold as an idea until the padt few days here at Amarillo where we've experienced high winds for the past 5-days. clamping the wireless sensor to the rear ladder is likely the best idea but i don't want to be raising and lowering. i was thinking about keeping it just high enough to clear the roof line but wondering if the highway speeds would be too much.

The only permanent anemometers ive seen on an RV are emergency awning retract systems.

I have an Accu-Rite 5in1 Weather Head on a short piece of 1” PVC painted and polished to match the coach. That attaches to a clamp used to attach a flag pole to the ladder. Its wireless and easily talks to the display sitting on the dash. It measures Wind Speed, Direction, Temp, Humidity, and Pressure. When traveling, its stowed

I had one attached to a 1" pvc pipe that I then clamped to the top of my ladder. I lost my wind cups twice though. Once to a tree branch and once to highway winds.
