DVD to TV

Hello folks,
I have looked everywhere and have not found proper procedure for watching a DVD on my TV. I am a newbie to RVing but am somewhat technically inclined. It is a Pioneer touch screen. Insert DVD it loads and begins playing. Component input selected on TV. 2 things happen either there is an error message saying to release and apply parking brake or I see all touch controls on my TV screen and no movie. Please advise...

Frustrated in Florida..... John B

OK, so not much help so far on this... Plan B, I have a PS 3 loaoded with Music and of course it is a blu-ray DVD Player. It fits in the Passengers side upper cabinet. There is 110V and what seems to be coaxial connection. Is this cabinet designed for similar fucntion? Is there a box that will convert Digital(HDMI) to analog (Coaxial)? Anybody out there do this in their coach?

Plerase advise, John B

jkbpeavey, I believe the coax connection you see in on the OTA antenna power supply and switch. If so that is an output.
Hard to look at the drawings there are three different models of the 31KE in 2016.
It does look like there should be a composite video (red, white and yellow) cable in the cabinet above the passenger seat.
What is the number after the T in the coach serial (1,2,or 3)?
Also what cables are connected to the back of the TV?
