I’m also shopping tires for my 2008 Winnebago Journey 39Z. I’m going with Toyo but I’m also looking for advice on sizes and rating.
I’d think by now we’d all be on the same page with this topic. So much information available it’s hard to determine what I need for my MH.
I guess it came with Michelin 255 80R 22.5”.
Now it has Firestone 275 70R 22.5 “ 16PR+.
Tire shop recommends Toyo 265 75R 22.5”.

Get your motorhome weighed. It will give you a better idea of what loads your tires are currently carrying. As a rule of thumb, H rated tires can carry more weight at a lower inflation pressure than a G rated tire.

A Michelin XZR 275/80R 22.5 is a Load H rated tire.

I’m not sure how it will fit on the Winnebago Journey.

This size would allow for a significantly lower pressure for the coach max weights.

The 275/80R 22.5 is certified on a 8.5 rim and the Journey has 7.5 which is an approved rim size.

Has anyone run a 275/80R 22.5 on a Journey?

Got tired of worrying about it. Wheelwell clearance, width, rims, and on and on...
Finished our first big trip and based on the crap roads in Oklahoma and Colorado I don’t think the tire would have helped the ride with those roads. Kansas maintains their roads great, I-35, I-135, and I-70.
