Hi all just a quick question I have a 2000 Winnebago Adventurer and I am looking to add a steering stabilizer to it. has anyone used the safety + or the Steer safe units if so which ones are the best and cost wise which one would you use.
Thanks
Mark

Used a Safe-T-Plus on a 1998 Safari TREK that I had for 5 years. Coach had a tendancy to wander all over the road. Typical for a P-32 chassis. The Safe-T-Plus works and made driving the coach a lot more enjoyable. They are not cheap but you can catch them on sale at CW about once or twice a year.
I had the Safty -Plus installed on my 2000 Horizon 3 years ago at GNR by Chip with Rallies-R-Us. It made the drive from Forrest City back home to Georgia a lot more pleasent. Worth the money and you can transfer it to another rig if you trade. Had a friend in our WIT club blow a front tire on the way to a club camp out and his wife was driving. He said the wife had no problem keeping control and pulling off the road. I guess that is where the "PLUS" comes from. I won't be without one. Take care Jim Bo b

Mark, you may want to try shocks first.
I put Monroes on a 99 Adventurer I had and they made a world of difference.
Bilsteins give a somewhat harder ride but you may want to consider them also. Good Miles

Just a suggestion, you may be looking at the wrong end if you think you are having handling problems. The Henderson Rear Trac Bar will do more for wandering and poor handling than anything that you can do up front. I have read and done lots of research on this.
I'm with you Ron, I installed a Henderson's Rear Trac Bar on our motorhome myself after reading about it in DriVer's upgrade updates and I am very happy with it. It took almost all of the road wandering away and I am much more relaxed while driving now.
