Road walk

We purchased a new 2018 25' c class 450 v10, on the first short trip we flat towed a 2008 jeep it whipped so bad it was untowable we were told to get aftermarket sway bars front and rear and a steering stabilizer we did. So this trip it towed great but the steering was so loose 55 mph was all we could safely drive, that made a 2000 mile trip looong. Any thoughts?

Is your Jeep a Wrangler or another model? If I remember correctly, the 2008's have a steering wheel lock. Also, when you say it "whipped so bad," that brings to mind the "death wobble" that some people experience with their towed vehicle.

I was a bit confused by your post; are you saying that the steering stabilizer made the RV steering loose?
