SOLD: 2009 Journey 34Y
This is the RV for almost everyone, perfect length to get in and out of remote places, easy to drive, diesel power, all the comforts of home, but on the road.
The 2009 was the best year for the Journey, because of the larger 350 HP diesel engine, the larger MH3000 transmission (later years have the smaller transmission), accuride aluminum wheels (later years had wheel covers), and the king size bed (option on the others). 2 more reasons why the 2009 was the best of them all: the basement A/C, that works very well, which keeps weight off of the roof and no DEF tank, so no having to deal with extra fluids at fill up.
So with all of that said, I went the extra mile by installing a residential refrigerator , which is a nice option if you like cold items, like ice cream (try that in a norcold) and cold beverages ( I hate having to hurry up-- in and out with the norcold units takes forever to keep them at cooler temps), then LED lighting inside, updated satellite dome for DISH.
Factory options on this 34Y: outside TV with DVD stereo option, optional navigation system (that is removable for towed vehicle), automatic/manual start generator control, automatic awning with wireless remote control. Then added items: hard wired surge guard (surge protection), and best of all my favorite is the king size tempurpedic mattress. Nice to sleep on, after a long hard day of relaxing..
Some more important things why my RV is better than the rest for sale. Recent service at the Freightliner service facility full inspection: fluid/filter change, coolant change, belt change, brake drier change, air filter change, and few other services. Then, new Michelin XZE tires with date codes of 1216/1316. Meaning they were manufactured end of March 2016. Why is this important ? Tires are usually good for about 8 years, and more than likely tread is not an issue, but age. Hours on generator about 345. We use the inverter mostly, so that keeps the generator hours low. Engine batteries replaced last year, house batteries just under 3 years old.
I have service records from the previous owner, and I keep records of everything I have done, even have a log for all of our trips.
Always stored under cover with tire covers, important because the sun does place a toll on stuff.
Fresh coat of wax all around, and ready to see the beautiful USA. I have a few more additional options that I have added, that may be negotiated. More pics on request. I have the clear title in hand.
Compare this 34Y Journey to anything out there.
Asking $110,000
More pics available, just ask.

Edit: I have had a few questions, thought it would save time to answer here. I had this listed last year, but couldn't decide on what we wanted for our next RV, so I took it off of the market. That is why it looks like it has been listed so long.. Yes, we have the original bed spread, it is still very nice and is included. We also have all 4 chairs, 2 regular and the 2 folding ones. We normally just use the 2 folding ones, keep them in the back closet for travel.
