Not sure what this is for

It is a cool 80's looking cb antenna but I have no idea what it is for, 2017 Winnie Drop 1710.

does your unit have a stereo? Looks similar to my am/fm stereo antenna on mine (before it broke off).

Nothing in your owners manual? Do you have a CB option? Is this unit new or new to you? If used the prior owner may have installed a CB.

It's your AM/FM radio antenna. I have one on mine too but I don't think I've ever used the radio feature.

i think it could be an amateur radio antenna. Is it about 19 in tall? What connector is on the end of the cable? Is it like the connector for a cb radio? If these things are true, then It is likely a 1/4 wave 2 meter radio antenna for Ham radio. It serves a radio system that is similar to cb in range and service, it is a very useable communications mode.
