We have several 12v LED puck lights in the bedroom ceiling. I just tied the Maxxaire power supply wires into the light's power supply. I used a coat hanger to pull the wiring over. Very easy. The hardest part is cleaning that sealant off the roof so you can remove the OEM skylight.

For the bathroom, I used the existing power supply to the little bitty exhaust fan. Been about 2 years now and everything still works like it should.
