Hello All 2019 WBMP 29ft slides beginning to detach

Hi All,

My name is Ana and although I'm not new to rving, camping, trailer hauling I am new to this group. I look forward to learn and help as much as possible.

I own my 3rd unit an this one I just purchased in Jan 2019 and am seeing my 2nd outside issue.

May I ask has anyone experienced the bottom part of the slides beginning to detach?

I have used the unit 2 x for a total of 8 days.

Thank you in advance
Ana

Ana, I have not that happen at all on our 2018 2250Ds to the slide but I have had the black metal skirt on the bottom of the outside pull away in 3 places one one side only. I used sheet metal screws to close these gaps along with silicone sealer.

In your case I would get it back to the dealer as soon as possible. It is a warranty issue.

Hi There,

Thanks so much for that idea, yes I have contacted the service department a La Mesa and am waiting to hear back fro them. I was thinking of rivets and yes silicone again.

But will let the service dept handle it since its still has warranty, but its crazy because it looks like its being held together by the silicone.

Thanks

Had same thing on 2019 27 RLTS, LaMesa installed black screws on both sides under warranty and did a good job of spacing them and it looks fine. I think heat makes it expand and pop out.

I have a 2019 26rbss with the same problem alson La Mesa dealer. I call and they don't call back. I usually fix suff myself rather be stuck with out my rig for weeks at a time. Other shops won't honor Winnebago warranties and send you to dealer where you purchased. I have extended coverage and they will do work.

could someone please tell me how to go about starting a new thread (post)? I'm brand new to this and can't seem to find a tab for that.
Cheers,
RB
