Just wondering how many Winnebago Destination fifth wheel owners are out there?

We love our 2016 Winnebago so far but have used it for only 19 days as we picked it up on Aug. 9th of this year. The trailer was new and the quality is much better than the 2015 5th wheel we traded in.

Just hit the reply to thread button, scroll down to "Manage Attachments" and in the popup box find your pics on your computer and click on it or them.

Pretty easy.

Just one question, is the rig hooked up for the road in this pic. It looks like your fifth wheel is set behind the drive wheels of the pick up which I would suspect makes it a little squirrely to drive.

It does look that way, but the truck has the Ford factory hitch with the puck system installed. The trailer has a Trailair pin box which extends past the nose of the trailer. The truck handles the trailer really well.

If the water pump won't quit, can you not hear it to figure out its location?
On my 2016 36RL, the water pump is located beside the convenience center behind the basement wall.

2017 Destiantion 39FB

We have a 2017 Destination 39FB . Rotten side floors are our only complaint. We love the spacious layout. The materials used could be better quality. The electrical sockets are rubbish.
Lockers that are 9 feet above my wife are a nuisance !
The frame and suspension is good for a 5th wheel. We even have shock absorbers and upgraded components. All suspension parts have gussets welded in for additional support. So far the roof looks perfect. We wish we had dual pane windows !
More to follow, after the slide floors are replaced with marine plywood..

Sorry to hear about your rotten slide floors. Do you know what caused the rotten floors, I know water but how did the water get in?

We still love our Destination 36RL. I have one electrical plug in to replace as the corner broke off where one screw fastener is. They are not the best plugins but it's what all the manufacturers use. I might try to install a box like what is used in our houses and then use a house socket.

2017 Winnebago Destination 39FB slide out floor rot.

The slide out floors are made of particle board. If Winnebago had used marine plywood or a waterproof composite there would have been no rot.
The water is getting in at the slideout side wall joints. Where the floors meet the walls . The wood is not structurally strong enough which causes the floor to flex breaking the wall to floor seals. I am going to use 3/4 inch marine plywood and marine caulking. I will also add 2 more rollers to spread the load better.
All three slideouts are involved.

I am slowly replacing all the wall sockets with regular household units ,mounted in regular plastic household boxes, cut down to fit the small space.
