25RKS Fifth Wheel

Any 25RKS owners out there? What you like and dislike about the unit. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

That floorplan felt crowded to us, especially in the entry/kitchen area. To us, it would have felt much more comfortable if the sofa was in a slide-out. Not much storage in the bedroom area either

We ended up with the 27RLTS instead.

We love our 25RKS. It's perfect for my wife and me. I tow it with my 1/2 ton GMC, no problem.
As far as the storage in the bedroom, the bed lifts up and we use that large space for storage. There is so much storage in the main area, we can't utilize it all.
Its size makes it easier to tow, park and store.

Did either one of you get the second AC for the bedroom? I’m looking at one without and wonder how comfortable it will be in the summer.

Nope, just the main one. We haven't been anywhere that would require it, yet. We leave for AZ in a week, but the temps are not going to be that harsh this time of year.

We HAVE used it, and it keeps the bedroom nice and cool.

We have a 2014 26FWRKS which sadly they don't offer a similar floor plan anymore. It is a foot longer than the 25RKS and has the sofabed and fridge on the slideout. Love this layout. Have had no issues with it in 5 years and 1000's of miles traveling.

Ours does not have the 2nd A/C unit. We live in AZ but do not camp in the desert during the summer months. Mountains in summer, deserts in winter and have been fine with just one A/C. But if you camp in 100F+ weather a 2nd unit and 50A might be needed.
