Just a note to say the price quote I got from globalsolar for the panels was around $900 shipped for two panels. I guess it helps to be local. They were also supposed to be "on clearance". Nice guy on the phone but I passed on the price. Actually another solar place had them for about $100 less per panel. It was a good try however.

From a solar shop I was told that perhaps Zamp has discontinued the flexi panel and working on the backlog of warranty repairs. Does not sound very good for long term use of the investment. I definitely see rigid panels in the future. Great report of the other panel here though so they are not all bad. Apparently Zamp missed the design mark somehow but their rigid panels are getting very good reports. Three weeks and still waiting for mine to get back and the holiday will extend that a while longer at least.
