trouble opening holds in cold weather

When the temperature drops below freezing, I have trouble opening the outside holds. The locks work but I have to use pliers to pull the doors open. Anyone have a good idea of how to keep the rubber gasket from freezing to the door?

Often a good cleaning and then a decent rubber treatment product will work well. I use 303 Protectant - many use slide out seal lubricant. Should also consider cleaning the door latches/locks and lubing with dry silicone or teflon sprays.

Check also to see if water is getting on/into the seals and freezing to the doors.

And welcome to a new set of friends!
