Swivel bracket for cab passenger seat?

Does anyone manufacture a swivel base for the passenger seat in a E-350 Ford cab? It would be nice in my Minnie if that chair could turn around and create another place to sit down, relax and read.

Yes, I installed one in our 2014 F350 with a 22R a couple of months ago.

Check out this link:
https://www.sportsmobilestore.com/fo...vel-seat-base/

I believe I bought it for somewhat less.

In our rig the thick matting under the rubber flooring in the can required me to slit the rubber open and cut out a section of the matt so the bolts could pass though enough to attach it. Also I moved the seat belt wire harness from it was near the front of the seat to a place farther to the rear to permit the swivel action. Study the red latch unit on the cable connector under the seat and make sure you do not destroy it while taking it apart. Otherwise it is easy install. The flat plate side goes down on the floor.

Oh yea, when you do swivel the seat it may not swivel like a living room chair- quite. You have to move it forward some, rotate some, change forward position again, etc to get all parts of the chair to clear the front dash and the door and other obstacles. But it works.

Hope this helps some.

My 2016 27Q Minnie Winnie / E450 was Ford factory equipped with swivel bases for both seats, so it would appear you could probably get one from Ford. Probably pretty costly though! I suppose its possible the swivels were an add-on by Winnebago. You might give them a call.

Can you please share a picture and a part number? My passenger seat has a wire harness underneath the seat. I bet it’s just for the seat belt, warning buzzer. I have a 2019 MW 22M, chassis is a 2018 E-350.

Thanks, Allen

I looked through my old emails and I don't seem to have the one from Winnebago with the part numbers. However I think if you just tell them the year it'll be easy to figure out. I just gave them the Winnebago serial number. The base I have does have all the cut outs/box outs, etc for the factory wiring.

Ok, I have the sports mobile unit on the way that Fred, rarebear, recommended. I will give everyone an update after I finish the install. Thank you Fred for the recommendation. Allen

Ok, I received my new swivel base. Do you know what size socket fits the front 2 factory bolts. It’s one of those star bolts. Is it American or Metric? I just to narrow down my focus so I don’t end up with a bunch of sockets I will not use. I will post pictures and the results of my install after I’m done. Thanks for the help, Allen
