Slip Slidin' Away in 24J

We love our 2018 View 24J, but have found a couple of quirks in need of solutions:
1. The U-shaped lounge turns into a bed by dropping the table down and using two of the back cushions as parts of the bed over the table. Those two cushions always slide off onto the floor. Also, the cushions are not the same thickness as the seat they adjoin, making the bed lower.

2. The Norcold refrigerator has a 1/2-inch gap between the top of the refrigerator and the cabinet in which it is installed. There is a 1/4-inch gap on the right (hinged) side and the cabinet. On cold windy days, the frigid air coming through the lower exterior refrigerator panel on the outside of the RV whips through the refrigerator cabinet like a wind tunnel. I'm sure heat will come through the vent and the cabinet this summer.

Here's what we've done so far to fix these "annoyances."
1. Used a 5-foot velcro strap to bind the cushions together so they will not fall onto the floor so easily. To raise the cushions even with the seat they adjoin, I think I'll use a folded blanket underneath them vs adding a 1/2-inch piece of plywood, which would add more weight.

2. Installed thick window insulation between the refrigerator and the cabinet to stop the wind whipping from the outside refrigerator vent into the RV.

We are satisfied with these quick fixes, but surprised that Winnebago did not see the obvious when they designed the View. It appears that other 2018 Views have the same "refrigerator gap" between the appliance and its cabinet.

If any other 24J owners have remedied these minor problems, please let me know how you fixed them.
