Sliding Dinet

We have a ‘14 Cambria Itasca 30j which is newish to us.
Have a problem with the dinet table which I can’t figure out. if we put any weight on it, ie elbows it sinks. Have tightened all fittings and still sinks. What am I missing

Is this one which has a form of hydraulic lift?
Look for a notch or pin which engages when fully lifted. Perhaps hard to spot but that would be my guess without actually having one. There may be a chance it need a bit of lube?

Thanks for your reply. Yes ours is the dinet you describe.
We have used the L shaped lever to hold the table at its highest point However that is really too high and when it is removed it takes very little pressure and the table just sinks. We end up chasing our meal down to our lap.
Is there a way to increase the resistance of the hydraulic lever?
