Removing plasic fin on roof

I have a '06 View and I want to drill a hole in the roof for my solar panel wires. I want to do the drilling on the passenger side, under the gray plastic fin like object that is on the roof in line with the kitchen window. Do any of you know how to remove that so that I can drill under it, on the slanted portion, run my wires and then replace it? Thanks

Is that a satellite radio antenna? Do you have any pictures?

Because we chose to drill a hole in ours we used this which came with our Renogy RV solar kit;

Is that the refrigerator roof vent cover? If so, a standard way to route solar wiring is to remove that cover and route the wiring through the metal housing under the cover. AM Solar sells a nice feedthrough device that mounts in that housing side wall for the solar panel wires.
