Refrigerator

Are we supposed to run the fridge on 12 mode when we are driving?

Assuming you are asking about a 2011 Winnebago Class C with 3-way absorbtion refrigerator, yes.

You can read your owner's manual and see if with the 3-way refrigerator set to auto it will only use 12 volt mode with the chassis engine running. You might just be able to leave it in auto and have it automatically switch to 12 volt mode only with engine running.

FYI the 12 volt mode is only for maintaining refrigerator / freezer temperature , it is not intended for start up or other times when more cooling power is needed.
