Firestone air spring question

Greetings. We are on our second shakedown road trip in a 2018 MW 26A. When we left about two weeks ago I put 60 psi in each of the rear air springs. They are now below 35 psi. Is this typical? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Tetmperature difference can change pressure especially on devices as small as these. Also, in all pressurized rubber products air passes through to the atmosphere faster than nitrogen used in tires at dealers and good tire stores. Being that the pressure is equal on both sides it appears you don't have a leak on either.

Thanks for the thoughts. I guess I’ll just continue to monitor.

You can lose 10 lbs of pressure just checking it! When I'm on the road i check it every few days.

My firestone air bags loose about 3 lbs per day while traveling and about the same while parked a long time. In the winter I up the pressure to 90 lbs and in the spring they read around 30 lbs.

Air ride bags

No experience on your issue HOWEVER!! I have Firestone air bag system on Sunstar 26P with on board Air Lift 2 zone air compressor wireless adjustable controller model 7200. It is very usual for system to release air during heat of day, and pump as sun sets. Shut off during long term storage, re-activation always initiates pump up cycle. This process is consistent with no apparent system air loss (normal status).

air spring limit straps

Anyone know if you have to install limit straps with air springs to limit travel when using the auto levelers? Considering installing the Firestone air springs on a Vista 26P (F53 chassis) and was wondering if the air springs get pulled when extending the levelers.
Thanks

Did you have to install limit straps on the levelers?
