2019 View Screen Door

We have a 2019 View 24D.

With entry door open and screen door closed, there is a gap at the top of the screen door. You can see daylight.

There is no obvious (I have been known to miss the obvious) way to adjust the screen door in order to eliminate the gap. It looks as if you can make minor up/down adjustments to the entry door and thus move the screen door, but the entry door fits fine when closed and there is no need to adjust it.

Thoughts?

We are victims of ancient engineers at Winnie. My 2018 23A shows daylight at the bottom because the outside door control mechanism is installed in the same area as the the brush sweep and supposedly designed to keep unwanted bugs out. This is now 2019 but Winnebago is still a century behind airplanes, busses, trucks and still cannot build a windproof door. The wind noise is significant while in transit and loss of heat in cold weather is shameful. I can only assume they have installed the wrong screen door on your unit as this kind of action would not be a major surprise. Your dealer is supposed to rectify these issues and should have noted it during the initial inspection.

I might want to jump on WGO as well but it is not unique to them. I had a Tiffin A class that got the entire door replaced twice, paint shop both times. It finally worked right. It never stayed that way for long because of the flex in the frame. The next rig, DP, had no problem because the door was forward in a DP and no frame flex.

As far as the gaps on the screen just make a trip to the auto parts store and find some trim and apply it. If the gap is really big and that would be unseemly or ugly - hit up the dealer for a fix.

I have found most dealers don't really want to see you again after they take your cash and you drive the rig off the lot. If I can fix it myself I prefer that route.
