2019 Spirit Surge/EMS protector

I just purchased a 2019 22M Spirit. I want to buy a Surge/EMS protector. The portable ones seem like a pain to protect from thief. Is there away to install one that is hard wired in it.

If there's enough room in your electrical storage compartment where your shore cable lives, buy a 30A shore power extension cord, and plug your hard wired 30A shore power cord into a portable EMS unit, then plug the extension cord into the input side of the portable EMS. I've got a PT30X Progressive Industries model. Then keep the portable EMS inside your lockable electrical storage compartment, and just run the extension cord from the EMS to the post/pedestal. No worries about thieves, because they don't know it's in there (if you're discreet when you hook it all up). You can get a 25' 30A shore power extension cord at Walmart for around $50.

Progressive EMS come as wired in. I've had two and they work great. I really like the lifetime warranty.

They seem expensive but I've found them used on Craigslist.
