2015 Winnie View 24v False messages

The information screen on our 2015 Winnie View 24v seems to be confused. It flashes up odd warnings....see your shop about EST, ABS, cruise control, water in fuel. We checked the water one and it was not true. The others pop back up once in a while but then disappear. They are gone right now. It's not a cheap or easy thing to pop into a MB shop for all these. The RV runs fine, the cruise control works.
Just got back from Florida and won't be using the camper for a while. Wanted to see if anyone else had this happen.
One more quick odd question. Has anyone else had water drip from the upper console unit where the map lights are? It was raining outside very hard...and inside too.
We'd appreciate some ideas.

The odd warnings might be related to a recall to disconnect the steering wheel located radio control buttons. There was a non-Mercedes module involved. Check and see if your VIN has had all of the recalls done.

You should not have leaks. Hopefully someone else has some experience in that area.

Thanks for responding. Just had the air bag in steering wheel recall done. No other recalls undone. Hmmm? Wonder if there's a connection there.
Thanks again.

I think I'd be back at the Mercedes dealer yelling at him for breaking your motorhome. Since the DIC and steering wheel buttons are all Mercedes parts and they worked on the steering wheel, feel free to let them fix their mistakes.

Unfortunately, we had the recall on the steering wheel airbag fixed the week before we left got home. That was in Florida, we're now in New York. My husband will call the Florida dealer and see what they say. There is a MB dealer up here but it's over an hours drive.
Thank you for the feed back.

We have a 17 View. I had water in the upper console map light area one time - found it after I was parked with the front end downhill on our driveway, and I think the skylight was slightly open. I dried it out, and now double check the skylight when parking. In 2 years it has not happened again. I am thinking this one time leak was a combination of parking angle and operator error on my part.

Wow! Thank you for that reply about the leak. That just might explain it. It could have been slightly ajar as we have occasionally hit the button by mistake. Only a second would crack it open. We also might have been driving down a steep hill in the rain when the leak started. Can't remember. It did stop abruptly and hasn't happened since. Not impossible. Thanks again. We'll check the sun roof from now on.
