Could not find an answer anywhere on this, any insight is appreciated. The RV we purchased needs roof repairs around the a/c (don't they all). In our minds we want to do it right and not patch it.

The problem: Several previous repairs by other owners (the cool white goop in a can).

The question: What was the original roof material, I was told that there were 3 possible options - fiberglass skin, rubber or vinyl. - Does anyone know what they would have used in 1985?

We were wanting to do a full roof off repair (also to update components), but wanted to know what we were really getting ourselves into it.

thanks.
