I noticed the new 2009 Era is online now.

What do you think?

$90K?

For what? Same length as a View/Navion, with WAY less room inside. And a 10 gallon black tank?

Very nice, but not my cup of tea. A Class A Sightseer starts at a base price of $90,037. Of course, the Era was designed more for fuel economy, drivability and maneuverability...

I just returned from an RV show where the Winnebago View and Aspect were on display, mounted on the Sprinter chassis w/Mercedes 6 cyl engine. I was really disappointed in the interior design. There is almost no outside storage at all. For that kind of money, $97000.00 you get a diesel engine and some very bad looking cabinets and bed arrangements. The idea is good, but the engineering in living amenities is sub Class B.

It looks just like the RoadTrek I was in a couple weeks ago. Even had the same floorplan with the bowed out bath.
I guess I still like my current rig.

I don't care for the Era either. Maybe it's just our lifestyle now, but with family camping, no way would it work, so I debated is that the type of rig I'd want when it's just Shelly and I RV'ing together. Nope, would'nt buy it for just the two of us either.

I understand the coach builders are designing rigs with fuel economy in mind, but to me. comfort comes first.

This is a Class B motorhome....If I was even remotely interested in these van type vehicles, I would look at it...otherwise, I like my 3-slide Class A.
