In Case of Fire

Travato 59GL on Ram ProMaster 3500 -
If we have a fire, we're in bed, we'd like to exit out the rear doors. But, alas the door latch is on the passenger side and when pulled hits the rear cabinet door. I did manage to get it open using one strong finger. Not sure my wife would be able. We cannot see any simple way to attach a cord to help pull the latch and even then it will hit the rear cabinet door. One idea we do have is to ask either Winnebago or Ram if they could reverse the doors. Put the latched door on the driver's side where the inside handle would be easily accessible.
