Winnebar Tour 42QD in Motorhome Magazine
The May issue of Motorhome Magazine features the 2011 Winnebago Tour 42QD.
The reveiw was about what I would have expected. Just good to see it in there.

We saw the Itasca version of that floorplan at the Louisville rally last July and were very impressed. Like any RV, there were a few details we didn't like, but it's undoubtedly one of the most residential feeling MH floorplans available. A snippy sales rep turned us around and we never pursued it further, ended up with the Revolution. Can't help but believe they'll sell a lot of them, one bad sales rep not withstanding.

DW read the magazine and liked the bedspread in it in one of the MH's. I was very patient explaining to her that the bedspread did not cost $350,000, and that it could be purchased as a single item.
The bedspread is on order. Whew! Narrowly escaped that one.
I have always liked the Tour. I don't know how I ended up with the Pinto of MH's.

Wayne, Now I know DW doesn't read this forum. Her being a Marine I'm sure there would be some form of drill to pay for that remark

Semper Fi, Top. Yep, about 6 months ago, paid a lot for the bedspread in the 42QD. Winnebago threw in the coach for free. Wrote a brief report in this forum after our initial shake down cruise. Still liking it.

My wife and I just bought a new Itasca 42QD at the FMCA rally in Perry Ga. We have about a Thousand miles on it since we picked it up. This is our fourth Itasca. Like with all new motor homes we are making a list of concerns. We hope to take it to Alaska this summer. So far we are very pleased with it. We traded in our 2006 Itasca Horizon.

Well, I must admit that my wife and I were unable to resist. We decided to go look at the nicely equipped Tour 42QD and that was it. We bought it. Man, I do love that floor plan. This one has almost all of the options except the power MCD shades. It has a built in grill, outside refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, residential refrigerator and on and on.
The difference between our 2008 and the 2011 is like a decade. We can't wait to get it out and spend some quality time with it.

Congrates on the new coach, the 42qd and the 40cd are the best floorplans on the market right now, (as far as DW and myself are concerned). Really looking forward to hearing how it works out for you,

The local dealer got a 40CD in after we bought our 42QD. It had virtually the same colors and interior. It looks like they've already sold it. The 40CD is no longer shown on their web site. The floor plans and color scheme seem to be pretty popular. Neither motorhome sat on their lot for more than a month.
